It’s undeniable that the Blazer is on top of it’s game. With countless amount of Blazers already released, Nike drops another solid pair of the popular model featuring this gold, black and blue colorway. The majority of the upper portion is covered in gold premium leather along with black suede swoosh. The blue tongue finishes the last touches for contrast, which now can be found available at Atmos.

The Nike Blazer continues to sit atop the shoe game, as we’ve already seen several hot colorways so far this year. This pair of Nike Blazer Highs feature a black suede upper along with a black sole. The Nike swoosh sports a red design, along with yellow contrast stitching.

The stitching along the side features a gradient design, and although subtle, definitely helps add some depth to the shoe.

The gradient design doesn’t stop there, as it can also be viewed on the heel tab and outsole. The NYX logo on the tongue tag lets us know that they are part of the Nike NYX Collection. Look for them now at Finishline locations.

DC Shoes and influential women’s sneaker retailer, Kendo, have paired to introduce the first women’s sneaker in DC’s Double Label Retailer Project– The Spruce Kendo. A woman’s ever evolving sense of style was Kendo’s inspiration for the unique colorway. The shoe features different reptile skins that have been applied with a lenticular technique to create the impression of an ever changing look. Kendo then paired the animal print with opulent gold, tan and copper colors, and added red for an edgy color pop with their logo featured on the heel as well as printed on the insole. The kicks look to release online on April 1, 2009 Kendo LA and DC’s webstore as well as select DC retail locations in Los Angeles and Soho.

On Monday the network starts “AMTV,” a six-hour block for music and advertising experimentation. From 3 to 9 a.m. Monday through Thursday, it will show music videos, news, interviews and performances, harking back to the network’s origins as a 24-hour home for music videos.

Critics of MTV say that its music brand is all but irrelevant now, since countless music videos and songs are only a click away on YouTube and other Web sites. The network canceled “TRL,” its long-running video countdown, last fall after years of sagging ratings. Mr. Friedman acknowledged that music had not always drawn “the level of viewership we hope for,” but nonetheless he said, “we know our audience wants more of it.”

The “AMTV” hours will not be measured by Nielsen’s ratings service. MTV is calling the morning block a laboratory for advertising partnerships; sometimes a company could sponsor all six hours, and other times it could insert its brand into individual segments.

I honestly don't know much about this EP, other than it sounds like some of Asher Roth's earlier recordings...well...I guess 2006 (as it's labeled) isn't too early...but early in the sense that all this was recorded before he unexpectedly blew up via "I Love College."

Wasn't sure about the EP because I couldn't find much info on earlier Roth work, aside from him saying he put out a mixtape called "Believe the Hype." Maybe this is "Believe the Hype," but renamed? Some of y'all can probably give me the low down.

However, he recently performed an a capella version of "Just Listen," which is the same "Just Listen" on this EP.

SKYPE IS COMING TO THE iPHONE!

Skype has taken over the computer messaging game, where AIM used to be king. We video chat, phone calling, type chat, Skype does it all to keep distances apart only relative to the computer screen. Now Skype is releasing an application for the iPhone as soon as tomorrow!

The iPhone client feature set is more or less what we’ve come to expect from Skype mobile apps: free Skype-to-Skype calls, SkypeOut support, pretty interface integration (they went with the iPhone aesthetic over the Skype desktop aesthetic, thankfully) and instant messaging to other users. You can even snap a profile picture from within the app. The app will also support 2G iPod Touches with external mics.

DEA Raids a Cannabis Dispensary

A week after the Attorney General defended state-sanctioned medical marijuana, federal agents raid a cannabis collective in San Francisco.

Angry protestors filled the street outside Emmalyn's California Cannabis Clinic in San Francisco on Wednesday, chanting “DEA: Go Away” and asking agents why they were raiding a medical marijuana dispensary less than a week after the US Attorney General claimed the federal government would no longer target patients and providers in compliance with state law.

DEA officials responded by indicating that the facility was in fact in violation of California state law, but provided no details to support this claim, which the dispensary owners disputed.

This compilation mixtape includes work from his past mixtapes (Paint a Picture, Hate is the New Love, 100 Miles & Running, The Mixtape About Nothing), as well as some live material and rarer freestyles. This is similar in style to our Cudi mixtape, that's done almost 11,500+ Downloads so far.

We set out to call it the "Road" to Attention Deficit (his upcoming Interscope album) because his career has been a journey thus far - so we included live audio from the UK, Australia, California, etc. that captures his journey around the world.

Tesla Model S Electric Sedan Prototype Has a Giant Touch Dashboard

Kevin Rose, the Silicon Valley's John Mayer, just got a few Tesla S concept shots leaked to him. The S, Tesla's $50,000ish electric 4-door Sedan, is supposed to be unveiled in Los Angeles today.

What's most interesting to tech enthusiasts is the fact that the middle panel seems to be one gigantic screen. Is it touchscreen? I damn well hope so.

The pure electric car manufacturer has already delivered $100,000 Roadsters, which are fun to drive, but get into accidents easily. (I saw one myself last week.) Even Governor Schwarzenegger wants to return his, but only because he's slightly too big to fit. The S, on the other hand, can be quite an interesting step in electric car design and manufacturing of Tesla actually manages to deliver enough of them to service more than just a niche market.

By the way, the price is only $50,000 once you factor in the $7500 in tax credit. It actually starts at a base price of $57,400.

New and more detailed pics of the Hare Air Jordan VII inspired Air Jordan Retro 1 Mid have hit the Net. Borrowing design cues from the classic Hare VII, the Hare Air Jordan Retro 1 Mid features a Grey nubuck and White leather upper with Red accents. The Hare Retro 1 also features the Hare VII's multicolored zig-zag hit on the tongue and the tongue itself is made of the the same material as the inner booty from the Air Jordan VII. The tongue also features a silhouette of a rabbit doing the Jumpman Dunk over the word "HARE" and the heel has a "HARE" hit as well.

The Hare Air Jordan Retro 1 is set to officially release on April 11th.

A big congratulatory toast is in order for Mic Terror who was voted Chicago's Best Hip-Hop Act of 2009 by the Chicago Reader. This is definitely a nice honor and accolade from the Reader.

“Swagger” has to be the most overused word in hip-hop today—your mom’s probably waiting for a good moment to drop it into conversation—and even after it goes out of style, the ineffable combination of skill, style, and braggadocio will remain the single most crucial quality of a good MC. Mic Terror has swagger to spare. He had it when was just some dude catching a bit of reflected shine off the Cool Kids; he had it when he got his first bump of national exposure via a beef with east-coast rapper Mazzi, who was dissing the tight-pants-wearing ungangsta hip-hop scene that Terror’s part of; and he really started swinging it around after a consensus emerged that the battle had been a Mic Terror victory.

I also noticed that the readers (not to be confused with the Reader) placed Project Mayhem as their top choice. So congrats to Lennon and the crew as well!

Nike SB Dunk Low - Toxic Avenger

Many Nike SB fans were scared recently when a pair of Dunk SB’s appeared and lacked the popular padded tongue. We think that you can officially label that an isolated incident, as the last pair we featured, as well as this pair, both feature the padded look.

This particular pair in the Nike SB Dunk Low model is inspired by the 1980’s cult classic The Toxic Avenger. Although the pictures are still not too clear, we can obviously get a feel for the shoe with what we have here. They seem to feature a rust-colored upper along with a bright red swoosh and two different shades of toxic green on both the midsole and outsole. Look for them to release later on this year, and expect detailed pictures soon.

Yet to be dubbed a nickname like the typical Dunk SB, this pair features high top design, along with a primarily brown suede upper, as well beige at the front end. Highlighting the shoe are the light blue accents on the Nike swoosh and inner lining. Not much more is known about them right now, but once we are updated we’ll inform you guys.
