Cleveland Browns' Brian Robiskie breaking through a tough rookie summer
Even Brian Robiskie -- the most prepared rookie on hand, the most polished receiver in the 2009 draft, the son of an NFL coach and a Browns ballboy for a few seasons -- was thrown off his game a bit in the first Eric Mangini training camp. And he had the benefit of his father's 26 years experience as an NFL coach with five teams, including the Browns.
Terry Robiskie did what he could to prep his son on what to expect. But it's like learning to swim. You don't know what the water feels like until you jump in.

LoL. I dunno who's wife let this fly? But dude has to be happy. Hopefully she likes NES too!Step-by-step instructions are available over at Instructables, but the end product is a tabletop Nintendo emulator with both USB ports and authentic NES plugs. Plus, since it's PC-based as opposed to NES-based, the whole thing can function as a standard computer as well.

The New Pop spent the day with Cudi capturing the URB cover shoot that went down a few months ago. The whole crew travelled Manhatten, hitting up the retail spots where Cudi worked before he blew up. For those who have been asking, I have no idea when this hits new stands.
Eric Koston x Nike Dunk SB Low Preview
Having recently signed legendary skater Eric Koston, Nike Skateboarding have now announced that he is that he is to release his very own Nike Dunk SB Low. The show previewed at the MOAT trade show which was held a few days ago at Florida’s Skatepark of Tampa (SPoT) and was well received. The Dunk features a blue suede upper with a gold Swoosh, all lined by red accents, laces and lining to complete. A release is expected sometime over the next few months.

Sneaker Pimps rolled through Chicago this past weekend, with the Clipse headlining and Chi-Town favorites such as Mikkey Halsted, Project Mayhem and Reno Chinati all featured on the bill. I missed Reno's set and only caught the last leg of Project Mayhem's, so if anyone has any video footage of this, please share.
Mikk performed a handful of never-before-heard tracks, including "I'm The Man" (prod. by SC) and "Zoom", which had the crowd even more anxious to hear what's in store with his debut, Chicago: The Photo Album. The track above is a potential first single from The Photo Album (at least I'd like to see it), produced by No ID entitled "Yes Y'all". It features his sister Miss Criss - and there's also a remix floating around featuring The Cool Kids. Below find "They Shootin", which is a joint he performs over Nas' "Made You Look", and after the jump is the No ID-produced "Karma"

Mr. Bandier is deciding whether the time has come to cut a deal with him.Sony already has a recording contract with Mr. Posner, and Mr. Bandier is weighing whether he should lock up publishing rights as well, which would allow the company to collect fees every time Mr. Posner’s songs are played on the radio, in movies or in commercials, or are downloaded as a ring tone on phones.
Mr. Posner yanks a computer from his backpack, plugs it into Mr. Bandier’s stereo system and hits “play.” A deep, pounding bass shakes the floor and the windows vibrate. Mr. Posner sings along and waves his hands in the air while Mr. Bandier bounces up and down in his chair.
“I’ve been singing for a year and a half,” Mr. Posner says when the music ends. “And I recorded that song in my mother’s basement.” Mr. Bandier, beaming, signs Mr. Posner that very day.

A lot of sneakerheads were very excited about the return of the Air Griffey Max 1 in its original Black/Fresh Water and Royal/Volt colorways and from the initial feedback, it appears that this new version will be just as eagerly embraced when it hits stores this fall. The shoe sports a Black leather/suede upper with a White midsole and some splashes of Hot Red spread throughout. As with the others, there are some personal Ken Griffey Jr. touches like the large White number 24 on the ankle strap and the baseball design on the bottom of the outsole. More than 1 in 7 Ohio homeowners with mortgages late on payments or in foreclosure
The number of homeowners in mortgage trouble keeps rising, with more than 13 percent of people with home loans falling at least one month behind or in some stage of the foreclosure process during the second quarter. A record number of homeowners nationally are late on payments or facing foreclosure, according to report this morning from the Mortgage Bankers Association.

Britain publishes more UFO files, but few answers
The deputy commander of a U.S. Air Force base in England was baffled by what he'd seen: bright, pulsing lights in the night sky. Britain's defense ministry couldn't explain it either, but concluded that the unidentified flying object posed no threat.
The National Archives on Monday released the government's complete file on the "Rendlesham Forest Incident" of December 1980, one of Britain's most famous UFO sightings.
It was among more than 4,000 pages posted online Monday documenting 800 alleged encounters during the 1980s and 1990s. Over the past three years the Ministry of Defense has been gradually releasing previously secret UFO papers after facing Freedom of Information demands.

Following their previously seen Tiger motif, A Bathing Ape release a new pair of their staple Bapesta sneakers, featuring the aforementioned Tiger graphic on the sneaker’s backside panel. Nike SB Dunk High ‘Bloody Gums’
Nike SB uses creative inspirations for their colour schemes. With this latest one, they might be a good fit for horror fans, since the muse is kinda gross. Dubbed the ‘Bloody Gums’, these Nike SB Dunk Highs look like AquaFresh with their mix of red, white and teal. Among the more interesting design elements is the translucent black outsole, a closer look at which will reveal some red peeking through at the toe. Whether this indicates a design over the entire sole remains to be seen, so stick with Sneaker News for updates.
