Air Jordan Spiz’ike – “Grape”
Yesterday, we got enticed with a sneak peek at the “Grape” version of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike, and now we get a more thorough look. While they might not be quite as “Grape” as some would like thanks to the prominent Red lace lock and 23 embroidery, the big Purple tongue and Turquoise Jumpman will get the point across just fine for plenty of anxious sneakerheads. These figure to be one of most warmly embraced Spiz’ike colorways to come along so far when they hit retailers in 2010. There gigantic tension between anyone on a bike and drivers/pedestrians in NYC. I know there have been numerous fights, lawsuits, public discussions about regulating bike laws etc. Obviously not really sure what happened here except for the fact that the guy on the bike was blocking the cab behind him. Quick temper right there. Sweet getaway on the bike, bro.

Nike seems to have discovered a secret that one of their formerly high volume distributors, Urban Outfitters picked up on: carefully combining seemingly clashing colours results in a kitschy, retro vibe. UO has a large variety of furniture to fit this mold and now Nike has dropped the Air Flight Condor in a colour perfectly befitting its nu-retro looks. New to its hightop shape, the Condor goes with an unorthodox mix of greys, browns, yellows/greens and blues.
