To celebrate the up and coming release of Resident Evil 5 Microsoft have officially announced their rumoured red console. It will be released on the same day as Resident Evil 5 (March 13th) and comes as a bundle with the following:

• Matching red wireless controller
• 120GB hard drive
• Resident Evil 5
• Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
• Exclusive Resident Evil Premium Theme
• Xbox 360 black wired headset
• HDTV-ready component HD AV, HDMI and Ethernet cables

It will be sold in select retailers accross the globe and it’s said to be just abit more expensive than the elite. If you were thinking of upgrading you should wait for this. Let us know what you think.

Buoyed by the widely held belief that cannabis is California's biggest cash crop, Assemblyman Tom Ammiano contends it is time to reap some state revenue from that harvest while putting a damper on drug use by teens, cutting police costs and even helping Mother Nature.

"I know the jokes are going to be coming, but this is not a frivolous issue," said Ammiano, a Democrat elected in November after more than a dozen years as a San Francisco supervisor. "California always takes the lead -- on gay marriage, the sanctuary movement, medical marijuana."

Nike Sportswear Store Opening London

Nike opened its doors to a new retail front located in Shoreditch, London. Much like other Sportswear retailers the store features a wide assortment of product including limited edition Sportswear releases and Tier Zero product. Various installations made the 1948 event kick off in-style including the space’s floor created by Nike GRIND which featured 15,000 pairs of old sneakers recycled into a unique bottom layer. Nike also launched their 1948 Magazine which will feature a wide range of editorial content for online readership and available in print format as well.

TheWrap has learned that a two-year-old lawsuit by the rapper is set to go to trial Tuesday and could impact a vast number of musical artists and the most popular form of music consumption -- the digital download over iTunes.

F.B.T. Productions, the rapper's publishing company, is going to court on Tuesday against Universal Music Group (UMG), the world’s largest music company.

A jury was seated Friday, with a star-studded witness list, starting with Jimmy Iovine, a founder of UMG and its distribution label, Interscope Records, and its subsidiary, Aftermath Entertainment, the lead defendant.

Steve Jobs, chief executive of Apple Computers, Inc., is also scheduled to testify, by video. Eminem himself is not expected to appear.

Stevie “Dread” Snyder x Nike SB “Chicago” Blazer

Nike continues their alliance with the O.G. skate heads on their classic Blazer models. Last year we saw the Lance Mountain/ Craig Stecyk sneakers and this latest Blazer release graces a design by O.G. Alva Team rider and Chicago skate legend, Stevie “Dread” Snyder. The kicks receive the Windy City treatment, emblazoned with a Chicago flag inspired color scheme in a buttery suede finish. Chi-town’s Uprise Skateboards will be hosting a special release party alongside Stevie, whom has been involved with Uprise since their beginnings in ‘97. Uprise will receive an exclusive for a couple weeks, launching them Saturday February, 28th (8pm-12am) while other select SB accounts will receive their shipment in mid-March.
