Complex Blog x Kid Cudi

Not only did Cudi just ink a deal with Universal Motown, but he also has music’s biggest star, Kanye West, in his corner. Cudi and Complex have long had a relationship (he actually modeled for us back in 2006), but after we tapped him and his homies in a blog post and he responded, we weren’t sure if things were cool…
That is, until Cudi came through the eckoplex yesterday for his first press day, and he kept it realer than most. In this exclusive interview, the Double-O representer talks about how he wants to be bigger than Kanye and Lil Wayne, the screaming match he had with Wale last week, and that rumored Reebok situation that went down in Phoenix. Yup, we back friends like Puffy and Steve Stoute…

Trick Daddy Has Lupus

Sad to hear this. Trick was a rapper that had a lot of hits back in the day and was putting on for Miami way before Rick Ross, Flo Rida, DJ Khaled, Plies, Ace Hood, etc. I hope everything works out for him. Nike Blazer Winter 2009 Preview
In addition to fusing the [Nike Blazer with the Nike Air Force 180 and Nike Flight Lite High], Nike is set to release several Nike Blazers on their own. As part of their Winter releases of the Nike Blazer, Nike is set to release two colorways of the newer styled Blazer in a "Jungle/Animal" pack of colorways that features a Green Reptile Blazer and a Black Scratched Blazer. Nike is also going back to the Blazers roots and releasing several colorways of the original style Nike Blazer including an all Burgundy (pictured above) several rustic stitched colorways, a couple of metallic colorways, and more.

Taking their Air Huarache inspired line up a step further, Nike is set to release a Mean Green Nike Air Huarache inspired Nike Air Max 90 in addition to their upcoming [Mean Green Nike Air Huarache inspired Nike Air Force 1 Low]. The Mean Green Nike Air Max 90 features the classic Mean Green Air Huarache Runner colorway with it's White upper, Varsity Royal accents, and Mean Green mudguard. To tie directly back the the Mean Green Huarache, the Mean Green Nike Air Max 90 features a tongue modeled from the inner booty of the Huarache Runner. The Mean Green Nike Air Huarache inspired Nike Air Max 90 is set to release later this year.
Dell Mini 9 for $199 Today Only (Again)
It looks like Dell was happy with their $199 Mini 9 sale from a few weeks back, because they're repeating it today. The system is available in white, configured with Windows XP, a 1.6GHz Atom, 512MB of RAM and 8GB of storage (just enough to get a Hackintosh netbook running after some fiddling). Yeah, it's a barebones system that you'll want to beef up with more RAM, but it's $199.

Hackers Add External IR Keyboard to iPhone Without Jailbreaking
via.GM.Even though it's still a bit more intensive than plugging in and typing, the tweakers at Perceptive Development have managed to get an external keyboard working via a custom connection built for the headphone jack.
It's a progression of their previous project which added an RS232 serial modem interface to the iPhone's headphone jack—a dream of those who've spent most of their life huffing solder fumes. Serial interfaces can be mated to a world of electronics components cheaply and easily, and the headphone jack in/out hardware is one of the few interfaces that's open in the official SDK.
Here they've built a microcontroller that converts input from an external Targus IR keyboard into a format the iPhone's headphone jack can understand, which is then fed to a terminal app that doesn't require jailbreak. Pretty cool.

Eastpak DRKSHDW 2009 Fall Collection by Rick Owens

Nike Air Max ST Retro
via. Hypebeast.Lost amongst a sea of their more prolific Air Max releases, Nike shines the light on various forgotten running sneakers in 2009 including a retro of the Air Max ST. Originally released in 1992 within an era that saw a multitude of iconic running silhouettes, the ST featured a clean look coupled with the brands trademark Air and Footbridge technologies. Bringing back those nostalgic efforts we get a look into an old school colorway making itself available to store shelves this season. Amongst this original version will be various other early 90’s inspired color choices.
